Lenovo Yoga 3 11 Disassembly
|In this guide, you will learn how to disassemble Lenovo Yoga 3 11, I will remove the bottom case and access SSD, WALN, battery and motherboard.
Remove ten screws securing the bottom case, pry up and remove the bottom case.
Notice: The screwdriver is Torx T4
Once the bottom case was removed, you can get access to the internal components, including battery, wireless card, SSD, speakers, heat sink and motherboard.
This Lenovo Yoga 3 11 comes with a 7.5V, 34WH, 4650MAH Li-polymer battery, Lenovo model: L14M4P71.
The 4GB RAM was soldering on the motherboard, it’s not provide a spare RAM slot, so RAM cannot upgrade.
Lenovo Yoga 3 11 have no cooling fan. Only a heat sink covered the Intel processor.
This Lenovo Yoga 3 11 features a 256GB NGFF SSD, it’s can be upgrade to 512GB if necessary.

Are there any warranty prevention stickers?
it’s a shame the ram cant be upgraded and that the battery isnt replacable. with a battery life of this kind (+- 6 hours), a second battery in the bag would have been a nice backup. at least the hd is upgradable. i cant wait when 512 ssd will be a standard, like the good old 2.5 500 gb hd
