Hello Chris, I just purchased a brand new Dell Inspiron 14 Model 3452-602 yesterday. It only has 2gb of RAM, so it often struggles loading pages and with smooth scrolling. I know how to upgrade the RAM , and that 8gb is the maximum, but would upgrading the hard drive help a great deal? I know that the Inspiron 14 can be upgraded to a 1tb hard drive, but am not sure how to do that or what hard drive would be best to use. Any suggestions welcome. Its a great laptop otherwise. Thank you.
Dell Inspiron 14 3452 has two RAM slot, you can add two 4GB DDR3L-1600MHz. You can remove the hard drive from your laptop to check the thickness of your hard drive, the same thickness hard drive will fit your laptop. Usually the thickness is 7mm.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that my Dell Inspiron only has a 32GB hard drive. The windows 10 operating system takes up almost all of that, so I definitely need much more space.
