I don’t understand how to disconnect the clip on the battery, how do you do that? Thanks.
There is little metal piece that acts like a spring sitting on top of the battery. If you move that aside, the battery will pop up or can be removed with a pair or tweezers.
This is awesome! Thank you so much. I wonder if in your dissassembly you could provide a summary for people looking to upgrade / mod. Things I need to know for this and my wife’s K533MA include the power plug tip dimensions, the memory slot type and amount of RAM it can hold, the Type of interface for the SSD (Do I look to buy PCIe or mSATA, etc..).
You have a great website and this is the best I’ve ever seen and now I just have to figure out the specs so I can figure out what to buy to upgrade my laptops.
