There are no screws securing the back cover. Just unlock the switch you can remove the back cover.
The battery has been removed.
You can see EliteBook 850 G1 has two ram slots, it is comes with a 4GB ram, you can upgrade the ram to 8GB.
It is also has a spare mSATA slot for user install SSD.
