Dell Precision M6800 Disassembly

In this guide, I’ll disassemble Dell Precision M6800, refer to this guide, you can upgrade, repair and clean your laptop, or remove and replace the hard drive, RAM, wireless card, optical drive, cooling fan, keyboard, palm rest, graphics card and motherboard.

Unlock and remove the battery.
The Dell Precision M6800 comes with a 97Wh 9-cell Li-ion battery. It is supported fast charge.

Unlock and remove the back cover
Remove two hard drives, optical drive, two cooling fans and a wireless card.

Here’s Dell Precision M6800’s mSATA, WWAN, RAM slots.
Remove all screws from the bottom case.

Turn over the laptop.
Lift up the keyboard. Disconnect the keyboard cable and backlit cable from the motherboard.

Pry up and remove the palm rest.

Remove two heat sink, Intel processor and graphics card.

Remove the motherboard and deputy board.
