Acer Aspire V17 Nitro VN7-792G Disassembly

In this guide, I’ll disassemble Acer Aspire V17 Nitro VN7-792G. Refer to this guide, you can upgrade, repair and clean your VN7-792G, or remove the hard drive, wireless card, battery, SSD, RAM and cooling fan.

First of all, remove all screws from the bottom case, pull out the optical drive.
Turn over the laptop. Pry up the palm rest with crowbar.
Disconnect the keyboard cable, touchpad cable and backlit cable from the motherboard.

Under the palm rest, you can access two cooling fans, two speakers, hard drive, battery and motherboard.

Disconnect battery connector from the motherboard.
Remove all screws securing the battery.

The Acer Aspire V17 Nitro VN7-792G comes with an 11.4v, 4465mah/51wh Li-ion battery. Acer part number is AC14A8L.

Disconnect the card reader board cable from the motherboard.
Disconnect the hard drive SATA cable from the motherboard.

The Acer Aspire V17 Nitro VN7-792G have two RAM slots, comes with one SK hynix 8GB PC4-2133P RAM, i have contact Acer to confirm it is max support 32GB RAM,
so you can remove the 8GB RAM, and install two 16GB RAM, the RAM type is DDR4-2133MHz.
