Acer Aspire S7-391 Disassembly

In this guide, I’ll disassemble Acer Aspire S7-391, I will remove and replace the battery, SSD, speakers, heat sink, cooling fan and motherboard. Refer to this guide, you can upgrade and repair your Acer Aspire S7-391.

Remove all the screws from the bottom case.

Carefully pry up and remove the bottom case.

Under the bottom case, you can get access to the battery, speaker, SSD, cooling fan and motherboard.

Remove two screws securing the battery.
Disconnect the battery power cable, you can remove the battery.

Acer Aspire S7-391 comes with a 7.4v, 4680mah Li-polymer battery, Acer part number: AP12F3J.

It’s keyboard and touchpad under the battery.

Remove two screws securing the left cooling fan.
Disconnect the cable from the motherboard.

Remove two screws securing the right cooling fan.
Disconnect the cable from the motherboard.

Acer Aspire S7-391 cooling fan has been removed.

Remove the screw securing the SSD.
Remove the SSD.

The Acer Aspire S7-391 features a Phison 256GB SSD.
