Acer Aspire E5-573G Disassembly

In this guide, I’ll disassemble Acer Aspire E5-573G, I will remove the bottom case, RAM, SSD, battery, wireless card, cooling fan and motherboard. Refer to this guide, you can upgrade and repair your Aspire E5-573G.

Remove eighteen screws from the bottom case.
Pull out and remove the optical drive.
When the optical drive was removed, we found it is not a real dvd drive, just a dvd bracket, you can buy a new optical drive and replace it.
In the optical drive bay, there are three screws, remove it.

Disconnect the speaker cable connecting to the motherboard.

Now you can remove the bottom case.

Acer Aspire E5-573G’s two speaker modules were fixed on the bottom case.

Under the bottom case, you can get access to the battery, RAM, wireless card, hard drive, heat sink, cooling fan and motherboard.
It seem to the laptop does not provide a NGFF or mSATA slot for users install SSD.

Disconnect the battery power cable and remove the battery.

Acer Aspire E5-573G comes with a 14.8v, 2500mah, 37wh Li-ion battery, Acer model: AL15A32.

Remove the hard drive module.

The Aspire E5-573G features a Seagate 500GB 5400RPM hard drive.

The Aspire E5-573G has two RAM slots, and only one RAM was installed, so the RAM can be upgrade to 8GB, it’s maybe support 12GB and more.

Kingston 4GB PC3L-12800S RAM

Disconnect two wireless antenna cables.
Remove one screw securing the wireless card.

Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA435 wireless card

Remove seven screws securing the heat sink/cooling fan assembly, disconnect cooling fan cable from the motherboard.
